Ircad – Strasburgo

Supply and fitting of standard as well as custom made items for this Institute of Research against Cancer of the Digestive Apparatus, acknowledged as one of the most important Center in the world. The furnishing was done especially in the office of the institute with main reference to the big conference room but also the administrative offices. The conference room was furnished with wall paneling in wood, lacquered cabinets and a big conference table in teak wood veneer and saddle leather inlays and microphones; everything was designed and produced on customer requests, including also the suspended ceiling , the stuccos walls, the lamps and the curtains. The big door and the columns covered in saddle leather are remarkable. The administrative offices was furnished with the Blade collection items fit to the customer requests as the special chromed details and the big round conference table. Also her the furnishing included the suspended ceiling and all the lamps.

Italian Embassy in Moscow

Supply of executive furniture for the new headquarters of the Italian Embassy in Moscow. The supply involved mainly standard office furniture: executive offices in the Blade collection, De Symetria and Tucroma armchairs, and waiting areas with Manta armchairs and Oyster tables. Hotel St Gotthard

Within a project of complete renovation of the Hotel San Gotthard in the city of Zurich, the Manz Privacy Hotels, an hotel luxurious chain owned by the Manz family since 1889 representing the top of the hospitality in Switzerland, entrusted to i 4 Mariani the furnishing of 6 gorgeous suites – between the 11 available in the hotel – of 82 deluxe rooms and of all the reception area. The 4‐star hotel, located in the heart of the world‐famous Bahnhofstrasse, is the point of reference for the most demanding with its 143 light and large rooms, studied to offer clients the best comfort also for design and technology. Its legendary “Hummer & Austernbar” restaurant from 1936 till today had VIP guests from all around the world including his Holiness the Dalai Lama, Prince Charles, Aga Khan and “our” Luciano Pavarotti. Directly instructed by the Property, the project has been completely coordinated by i 4 Mariani, from the interior design to the selection of materials, colours and finishings. In the deluxe rooms, with a modern and basic design, stand out the elegant gold shades and the soft and smooth shapes. The beds – expressly designed for this project by the contract division of the Company – are covered in eco‐leather with suspended bedside tables and have an headboard with a frame in backlit onyx and courtesy integrated LED lights. Some of the most successful items of the Company enhance the room: the famous “shell‐shaped ” armchair Oyster, the classic and sinuous Beverly chair and the funny Papillon, compact and snug, all covered in gold colour eco‐leather. In this turnkey project, the Company furnished also the wood panelling for all the rooms and the internal corridors, the silk‐screen glass doors for the bathroom, the clothes cabinets with sliding doors, the carpeting, the curtains and the Artemide lamps. Everything perfectly coordinated in a very elegant and sober atmosphere.

The Reverie Hotel

Supply and fitting as a turnkey project of the new headquarters of this dynamic Company specialized in the distribution of accessories of cycle and motorcycle. The project involved all the furniture items of the building both the standard of our collection like the workstations the office armchairs of the Squaresystem line but especially the custom design items. For example the bright glass partition walls with customized serigraphy, the equipped partitions and relative cabinets with the special red laminate finishing, the conference table and relative wall covering always in red colour laminate, the reception counter with the special lighted front. At the end of the project the customer and the Company were both completely satisfied.

Nuova Aviazione Generale Aeroporto di Olbia

This brand new building recently opened and run by the Eccelsa Club Company, has been built just to cover the needs of the private VIP customers of the Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport and received the award as best European operational base for private flights. This confirms the high quality standard of this building for which the Company produced and fitted the great majority of the custom design furniture elements. The most important are the 5 big reception counters made of wood, marble and a special metallic mesh and distributed in the two floor of the building, but also the aluminium and glass partition walls, the doors, the VIP lounge furniture items, the big passport check area, the parapet and rail in steel and the big lighting element above the bar counter.

More than a single supply, this is a long-term collaboration between the Companies i 4 Mariani and Geasar – the managing company of the airport. In the last 10 years the Company basically supplied the most important areas of the airport with the most different elements of furniture: from Arrival hall to the Departure hall; from the rent-a-car areas to the Private VIP Eccelsa Club departure –arrival area; from the Gates A to the Geasar and Enac offices. Strictly connected with the project planning Studio, the Company produced and assembled the most various furnishing elements, all made on custom design. The importance of this project has been than confirmed by the issue of a specific volume of the specialized Library SKIRA. More precisely separated for the different Areas: Departure Hall: Check-in area with 40 check-in counters custom design in gel-coat and steel and the relative steel and rigid poliuretane cantilever roof with its monitor-holder; integration of furniture with all the mechanism for the hadling system. Official supplier for all the Alitalia VIP Lounges in the World from 1996 till 2000. Purchase of third companies items – as per designer project – production on custom design for all the special furniture items and the final fitting for all these elements. Between the special items there were also tables, standard and electrified cabinets, low partition walls, reception, check-in and bar counters. In this period of time were installed or renewed the VIP lounges in the following Airports: N° 3 Lounges in Milan Linate and in Milan Malpensa 2000, N° 2 Lounges in Rome Fiumicino, N° 1 Lounge in Palermo, Paris, Bruxelles, London, Bangkok and New York.
