The look is brand-new, the role is unquestionably different, but the spirit is definitely there: this collection of refined containers evokes and reimagines for a new century the exquisitely rugged steamer trunks of glamorous travellers of a time gone by. The modular units, both vertical and horizontal, are fixed on chrome or painted tubular steel bases—low horizontal bars or high-footed frames. The architectural clarity and strength by the element common to the design of the entire line: the groove that runs along the entire perimeter of the facade, simultaneously serving a practical purpose—drawer handle—and establishing a potent visual signature. Slick is made exclusively from leather that is meticulously cut, laid, folded, beaten, and permanently adhered to the entire structure of the container, evidencing the highest standard of precision and passion for details.
The pictures are illustrative and there may be slight chromatic variations in the realization.
